- I am almost always running late, no matter how early I start getting ready for something. It’s usually because I get caught up watching something on TV, or checking email, or looking through Google Reader, and I lose all track of time.
- I am a night owl – always have been – and rarely fall asleep before 2AM. Unless I’ve taken allergy pills.
- I think mushrooms are slimy and disgusting and I try to avoid all foods with mushrooms in them.
- I have an amazing boyfriend that I love more than anything in the world. He is hilarious and sweet and affectionate and my best friend.
- I get annoyed when people ask when said boyfriend and I are planning to get married. We are perfectly, happily, contentedly UN-married.
- I could eat chicken fried rice from the Thai restaurant down the street every single day. It is that delicious.
- My favorite color is black. I am perfectly aware that is not an actual color.
- I love lists. I make lists for everything. Case in point, this list.
- I detest dumb pop music like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. My favorite band is The Cure.
- I never miss a single episode of Criminal Minds and Law & Order:SVU.
- My birthday is 7/17. My favorite number is 7.
- I have been working from home since August 2005 and I love it.
- I am obsessed with notebooks and pens. One of my favorite websites to online shop is JetPens.com.
- I am pro-gay marriage and gay adoption.
- I hate people who brag about having money or material possessions. Same goes for name-droppers.
- I love when my boyfriend calls me “Lulu.” It makes my heart happy.
- I am trying really hard to stop cursing. So far, it hasn’t worked.
- My favorite drinks are Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke Zero.
- I belong to a Book Club I meet with regularly. Because of them I have read books I wouldn’t normally even pick up. I’m glad for this.
- I also love photography and scrapbooking. I carry my camera with me all the time because you never know when a photo op will arise.
- I hate wearing makeup now because I used to wear it every day for 15 years, when I was working in a corporate office. Now I only wear it for special occasions, like weddings and parties.
- Same goes for high heels.
