Searching for Normalcy

"And finally, above all else, it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was happy. I was sad. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a good purpose and that’s why I made works of art…" – Felix Gonzalez-Torres

Scrap Space Redo March 5, 2011

I reorganized my scrap space again last night. I had been getting tired of having the collections that I kept in the clear crop bags falling over all the time, and while I was at Target earlier in the day, I looked through the home décor/storage solutions aisle and found some of these canvas bins on sale for $4.64 each (normally $9.99).

They were the perfect size for holding my 12×12 papers and embellies that I keep together in bags. Unfortunately, only the blue & green striped ones were on sale, and all my other storage items are either pink or purple, but I didn’t care. $4.64!!

So this is what my shelf and scrap desk look like now.
